Infinite Potential

Committed to the use of “The Secret”

Nelson Mandella’s famous quote!

“Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves,’who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God; you playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

So go ahead and shine your light! Brightly!

When Leadership finds you!

I came across this article in an old toastmaster’s magazine written by John C. Maxwell Ph.D and just have to share it with you cause I think it’s great!!

“Forty years ago, Dr Martin Luther King Jr. stirred the passion and imagination of Americans with his dream of equality for all people. Reflecting on the life of Dr King, I am reminded that history has demonstrated that leaders often emerge during periods of great change. For every major turning point in American history, great leaders assumed the mantle of leadership: Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman come to mind.

What is interesting is that great men and women usually don’t go looking for leadership. Instead, leadership finds them. When Dr King received the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize, he said, ‘History has thrust me into this position. I neither started the protest, nor suggested it. I simply responded to the call of the people.’ King’s words reminded me of Plato’s, ‘Only those who do not seek power are qualified to hold it.’

So if you want it, you shoudn’t have it. Instead if you commit to other things, leadership will come. What do people who become great leaders commit themselves to that lead them to greatness? Here are four key commitments:

1. They commit themselves to growth. King was a life-long learner. he said, ‘I question and soul search constantly to be as certain as I can that I am fulfilling the true meaning of my work, maintaining my sense of purpose, holding fast to my ideals, and that I am guiding my people in the right direction.’

His widow, Coretta Scott king, confirmed this by saying that King ‘worked so hard and studied constantly – long after he became a world figure.’

2. They commit themselves to a larger-than-life vision. King saw the civil rights movement as the continuation ‘of that noble journey toward the goals reflected in the Declaration of Independence, the Preamble to the Constitution, the Constitution itself, the Bill of Rights, and the 13th, 14th, 15th and 19th Amendments to the Constitution.’ Dr King portrayed the movement as not simply a conflict between white people and black people, but a struggle between ‘Justice and Injustice.’

3. They commit themselves to action. Dr King always advocated specific and practical initiatives. Great leaders point to the problem and then clearly give several solutions. King would ask how it is that we can have all the great technology in America and yet cannot make the Constitution work at a luncheonette in a Southern Town.

‘What is needed,’ he said ‘is a strategy for change, a tactical program that will bring the Negro into the mainstream of American life as quickly as possible. when evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind.’

4. They commit themselves to a legacy. King said he wouldn’t ‘have any money to leave behind,’ but he wanted to ‘leave a committed life behind.’ This is best demonstrated in that he said he didn’t want ‘a long funeral,’ not even ‘a eulogy of more than one or two minutes.’ He wanted no mention of his Nobel Peace Prize or other awards he had received. Instead, ‘I’d like somebody to mention that Martin Luther King Jr. tried to give his life serving others. Say that I was a drum major for justice, a drum major for peace, a drum major for righteousness.’

Dr King was right for the moment. He showed the nation a better way. Milions of us live with the hope of an even greater future as we remember his dream of when ‘little black boys and back girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.’

Dr Martin Luther King Jr didn’t look to become a leader. Leadership found him, and because of his commitment, he was able to answer leadership’s calling. That is a great lesson for all of us to learn. When leadership finds us, will we be the kind of people who can step up and lead? What we commit to now will be the determining factor.”

This article is just as pertinent today when we look around at our world community. Aboriginal children  in deplorable conditions in Australia where their human rights are being violated and conflict in many, many other parts of the world where innocent people are terrorized just to name a few. Insightful and visionary leadership is as critical today as ever, don’t you think?

What is our strategy for change?

Build your Self Confidence!

While I was in Melbourne I had the opportunity to hear Gerry Roberts speak. He was encouraging us all to realize that we all have a book inside of us that just needs to be expressed….more about that later.

But one of the things that he talked about was about how we should all think about joining Toastmasters, especially if we were going to be doing any sort of public speaking. Well when I heard him say those words it really hit me that this was something I must do when I went home!

So on Tuesday night I attended my first Toastmasters meeting!!  Wow!  It was fantastic!! I should have joined years ago! The people there were unbelievable. Talk about great role models! They were eloquent speakers and their speeches were fascinating and moving. The members were lovely people from all sorts of backgrounds and very friendly and encouraging.

And in the Toastmasters magazine guess who’s picture was there along with other very well known international speakers who had been a Toastmaster…..none other than Bob Proctor!!

I picked up so many tips just in my first night such as use of humour, gestures, stories, voice intonation etc. I know that this is a forum where any of us can begin to craft, and later really master speaking in public with confidence.

So check out your local Toastmasters group if you are really interested in your own personal development!!

I just met the beautiful Bob Proctor!!!

I Have just spent four days in Melbourne attending “Mind and Money Strategies” with David Schirmer. It was amazing….I am still high and know that something inside of me has changed forever.

But the most awesome thing was that I went there because I knew Bob Proctor was going to be a speaker and I decided I was going to fly to Melbourne to meet Bob!!! I met Bob, got to hug Bob, talk to him and got a photo taken with him as well. It was the most incredible four days…and all I know is that the Law of Attraction is just incredible. Keep following it…focus on whatever is your bliss …and you will know what the next step is. More later!

Ask for Guidance…another excellent site!

At another fantastic website at www.RichGuyTIps.com  that I have just been attracted to, the author says“Many people don’t like to ask for help.  Pride gets in the way.  This can be seen in a person who is lost on a drive and keeps circling a neighborhood showing up late, instead of stopping to ask for directions.  Maybe it’s someone who is struggling with a heavy load, but instead of asking for assistance, tries to do it all themselves, and ends up with a back injury.

These are both situations that could have been easily solved, without negative consequences by just asking for help.  That principle holds true when you are on your divine path as well.  You can try to make it alone, and take the chance of getting tripped up, going off on a wrong side road, or any number of consequences, or you can just ask for help.

When you are on your path to prosperity, you may notice a feeling nagging you inside that tells you it is time for something to happen, something to change.  You must open up to the changes and let them know it’s ok to come, then ask for help taking the right route in this change.

Use an affirmation such as, “I am prepared for the next step in my path to prosperity. Show me the path I am supposed to be on and help me find the way.” After you start saying the affirmation daily, and open yourself up to guidance, you need to keep your eyes open.  Not always is guidance in the right direction a very obvious sign.  It could be. It may even be a billboard for a new job opportunity that gets your attention, but it could also be something much more subtle, a few words in a conversation that trigger something inside, or a passage in a book that seems to have a strong meaning to you.

Take note of these little nagging feelings, those are the gentle pushes showing you which direction to go. Once you feel them, write down what made you get the nagging feeling, and how it made you feel. If you still cannot decide on the action to take, you can once again ask for guidance through your affirmations to lead you the right way.

Fantastic Blog!

For all of you who are very new at all this internet marketing and the idea of multiple sources of income (MSI’s) I have found a fellow SGR agent who has a wonderful site to help you with all these new concepts…….

This is his recent post with more advice for us….

‘Do you want to take your SGR business to the next level?  I bet you do!  Well, I sure hope you have already gotten your friendblaster!  If not, go and get it right now!  They will even give you a limited trial version for free.  The unlimited version is only $60.00 (I think) and since I got it, my business is going CRAZY!  Don’t forget to sign up as an affiliate also!  When you tell others about it you get paid!  You won’t get rich but I have already made more than my investment in less than a week of signing up!  You can do both by clicking here FriendBlasterPro

Now, listen…there are a ton of different ways to approach this on Myspace.  At the bottom of this post I am going to start a list of everyone I see promoting SGR on their Myspace account so that you can get some ideas.  Some people even have images of Bob Proctor or Jack Canfield or Michael Beckwith as their picture.  That shouldn’t be a problem as long as there is some sort of disclaimer.  However, I really think that YOU are the most important brand here.  If you are like me and you are really serious about getting this to a large audience then you may have several different accounts with different themes.  I have three.  They will be on the list at the bottom.  I suggest that you become Myspace friends with everyone on the list so that you can see what they do and how they promote once you are a friend.  Some people do bulletins and some leave comments on your Myspace page.  Others send private messages.  I do all of the above.  And it is so much easier with the FriendBlasterPro

Now let’s talk about spamming.  You should be very careful when promoting on any social networking site and especially on Myspace.  They do not lack spammers and phishers.  Spamming is when you hit peoples pages with comments and you are not their friend or you do blantant advertising bulletins.  I have avoided any issues because I make my comments and my bulletins very personal.  I tell how the program has helped me or I load a video that has my URL on it.  I really do try NOT to do things that is considered spamming.  Once every few weeks someone will write and say “hey, don’t spam me” and I politely delete them and end the issue.  If you are providing value with your site, then most people will be excited to see you post a comment or a bulletin.  I have just started doing a DAILY bulletin from one of my Myspace accounts called Insight of the Day which in just the first day has already gotten me several very nice comments from people thanking me!

Look, add value to the human race.  Everything you do, seek to be a giver.  Never feel like you are giving away your secrets or that you will be competing with those you are helping.  There is more than enough.  Just add value and then place that value in front of human beings!  And keep on adding more and more and more value!  As always, email me if you need me!  danny@mindriches.com

Peace and love!

Isn’t he great. Thanks Danny!

Beat Stress and Unlock Your Inner Potential

Jeremy Ta’kody in the June/July 2007 Succeed magazine talks about….

“So while improving fitness levels and reducing body fat, working out also exercises the body’s communication systems, increasing tolerance to stress, and that’s a good thing.

So for scientifically provable reasons, exercise makes you feel good. Exercise equips you to be on top of your game from the inside out. But besides the release of norepinepherine, endorphins and the rush of adrenaline that can accompany a good workout, have you ever noticed how your thoughts are clearer, how obstacles become opportunities? Have you ever noticed how new ideas or insights appear in your mind after a good workout?

Have you ever gone to the gym for a quick workout when BAM! Halfway through your final set you receive the sudden insight into a pressing problem? Have you ever gone for a jog and found yourself able to visualize a solution, feel more clearly about a choice you need to make, or listen clearly to words of wisdom from your inner self? Well it is not by chance, and these phenomena are an added benefit of exercise.

Most people would agree, that when you exercise, your mind has a chance to stop thinking about your day, your credit card bills, your mortgage or relationship woes. Your conscious, logical mind has a chance to stop thinking about the new deal, the new job, the new project, the new car or the next big thing. In this inner space of not thinking, your unconscious mind is able to work on theses deepest thoughts and feelings, and come up with powerful insights and solutions. Your mind will never stop working, but by working out you just give yourself a chance to see or feel things in a different way.

You see, exercise not only makes you feel good, it can give you a chance to turn off the internal dialogue, allowing your mind to access other states, attentions and resources.

Hemispherically speaking, much logical linear thought ( including the internal dialogue) arise from the left hemisphere of the brain, while thinking outside of the box in a creative, visual or intuitive way is managed by large with thr right side of the brain.

These other states are infinitely more connected to our fuller potential, our secret desires and deepest emotions. When we workout, even for just half an hour a day, you strengthen this potential. You also develop self discipline, which can be channeled to achieve virtually anything and everything…..”

Love

Love expressed softens the harsh cutting edge of any experience. Whether we’re the recipients of love or the givers, we still share in the promised rewards, the greatest of which is the knowledge that we belong, that others know us. We know we’re not alone when we feel another’s love, and when we have someone to give love to.

Independence and self reliance are worthy attributes, and may prepare any one of us for survival in hard times. However, if they interfere with our awareness of and praise for the interdependent nature of the world, we’ll discover that our personal survival is at stake. Our emotional, intellectual, and physical development is enhanced by our involvement with others.

The alienation any of us feels at this moment can be quicly dispelled if we’d but offer the hand of love and willingly receive it in turn. Our lives are rich and fulfilling in proportion to the love exchanged among us.

I will let someone else know I love them today and cherish the good feeling it gives me. ~ThePromise of a New Day.

Intimacy

‘Intimacy means that we can be who we are in a relationship, and allow the other person to do the same. “Being who we are” requires that we can talk openly about things that are important to us, that we take a clear position on where we stand on important emotional issues, and that we clarify the limits of what is acceptable and tolerable to us in a relationship. “Allowing the other person to do the same” means we can stay emotionally connected to that other party who thinks, feels, and believes differently, without needing to change, convince, or fix the other.’
